Antifibrotics may extend lives for patients with IPF

Mayo Clinic researchers recently learned that patients who are taking antifibrotic drugs for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) have a better chance of survival after a respiratory-related hospitalization compared to patients not receiving these medications.
